Risa Amboseli – Terms & Conditions

Operator: Uzima Ecolodge Limited t/a Risa Amboseli.

Accommodation: We offer whole houses only. Akariza accommodates a maximum of 4 guests; Redhouse accommodates a maximum of 8 guests.

Rates and taxes: All USD rates include Kenyan VAT and applicable levies unless expressly stated otherwise.

Payment: A 50% deposit is required to confirm a booking. The balance is due 30 days before arrival. Bookings made within 30 days of arrival require payment in full (100%) at booking.

Cancellation: Cancellations more than 30 days before arrival are refundable less any unrecoverable fees. Cancellations 15–30 days before arrival incur a 50% non-refundable charge. Cancellations 14 days or less before arrival are 100% non-refundable. No-shows and early departures are charged 100%.

Minimum stay: Standard season: 2 nights. High and Peak seasons: 3 nights.

Arrival and departure: Check-in is 14:00–18:00 and check-out is by 10:00.

Meals: Meals are not included unless the booking confirmation expressly says otherwise.

House rules and safety: Quiet hours are 21:00–06:30. Smoking is not permitted indoors. Guests acknowledge that this is a wildlife area and accept the inherent wildlife risks; guests must follow all safety instructions from Risa staff.
